PowerPoint Capture The LogDepot Presentations Module is an easy to use extension to the LogDepot Product family. Apart from the existing possibility to make a video recording of a presentation, this module will automatically record the PowerPoint presentation. The system will record each sheet as an individual picture and text on the sheets as textual metadata. The sheets are time-stamped upon recording so that they can be synchronized with video recording automatically. Easy to use Arbor Media’s intention was to make this as easy as possible for the end user. The presenter inserts the Arbor Media LogDepot Presentations USB-stick into any laptop running the Microsoft PowerPoint and his or her presentation is being recorded. It’s that easy! The software will not be installed on the notebook: when the presentation is finished, the user can simply pull out the USB-stick and use the PowerPoint Export Module to transfer the information to the archive or website, depending on your requirements. The Export Module will export the sheets as JPG pictures and the metadata (titles and texts of the sheets) in XML files. Publish on-the-fly with a fixed installation Apart from the use on a USB-Stick (as described above), the module can be installed on a fixed Presentation PC, depending on the requirements. When used in a fixed environment, the export or online publication can take place on-the-fly. | |||||||
