Storagedata – XG

Arbor Media has teamed up with Storagedata for the delivery of advanced storage solutions.

Together with Storagedata we have provided a replicating storage solution between two servers over a long range distance for one of our customers. The solution uses two Storagedata-XG devices which are both connected to a 16TB storage array. The XG is a Storage Gateway which is responsible for the replication between the two sites. The two gateways are connected to each other by a redundant dark fibre path. A 10GB FC link between the two gateways provides a fast replication path and provides a high availability solution. The storage units are cheap,  high available, fast and easy configurable.
