New Video Backend Features
Arbor Media recently released a number of consecutive versions of its video recording software, implementing new features.On top of recording multiple video channels, introduced early 2011, the product now also supports a versatile method of switching to the available input sources whilst recording multiple streams. This includes switching from one program to another within the same transport stream. Ability Another new feature is the ability to forward and embed PTS timestamps from an incoming transport stream source into the Windows Media output. This opens up the ability to exactly link media positions down to video frame level, between the recorded transport stream and the derived proxy format. Furthermore the support for hardware capture cards from Dektec has been extended. For SDI input, the brand new Dektec capture filters are incorporated in the backend software. This includes support for the upcoming DTA-2152 model. And more… Other new features include:
