AV and IT specialist Arbor Media is looking forward to joining the 72nd annual conference of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), that will take place from May 20 through May 22, 2018 in Norfolk, Virginia. The IIMC is the international organization of municipal clerks with over 14,000 members. It focuses on research, publications, educational programs, certifications and an annual conference.
At the 72nd annual conference, municipal clerks from around the world will gather to discuss the latest developments and trends in their field of work. The IIMC conferences offer an abundance of educational programs and networking opportunities to help clerks and their municipality move forward in today’s complex environment.
One of the themes is digitization, which has a great impact on all work processes for municipal clerks. Arbor Media is at the forefront of these development and will highlight its successful Cmeets solution at the conference.
Cmeets allows the municipality clerk’s office to streamline all processes before, during and after committee and council meetings. For example, during a webcast of a meeting, accurate metadata, such as speaker information and agenda items can be viewed, voting can be broadcast live and the entire workflow of a meeting is fully automated. Because the entire process is supported by software, municipalities becomes less dependent on hardware and modifications are much easier to implement.
Arbor Media has her headquarters in Doetinchem, Netherlands but is also located in, Belgium (Brussels) , Portugal (Lisbon) and North America (Toronto, Canada).
