The City of Reykjavik in Iceland has selected Arbor Media’s Cmeets solution to streamline all city council meetings. Cmeets was selected after a public tender for a renewal of the conferencing system in Reykjavik’s city hall. The city deployed the Televic conference system which is fully integrated with Cmeets, that is used to manage and control all the Televic hardware. Cmeets enables the city clerk’s office to automate a wealth of functions, including meeting and agenda preparation, voting, camera control during meetings, streaming of the meeting on displays and digital storage of meetings for future reference. Until now, most of those processes had to be handled manually.
Part of the project was a real-life evaluation of the Cmeets solution by a delegation of the Reykjavik city council in Arbor Media’s office in Doetinchem, the Netherlands. The solution was checked by the attendees on fifty different functional and technical points which all turned out positive.
