Gooise Meren municipality to deploy Arbor Media's Cmeets software
Arbor Media continuous momentum in the municipality market is once more underlined by a new customer for the Cmeets conferencing solution: Gooise Meren. This municipality is comprised of the towns of Naarden, Bussum, Muiden and Muiderberg. The municipality has around 60,000 inhabitants. It was formed in 2016 after a merger of the municipalities of Naarden, Bussum and Muiden.
The new municipality issued a tender to renew the AV systems in its council meeting rooms. AV integrator Heuvelman was selected to install the new system that will not only support the local council members during the meetings, but will also be used for recording and streaming. To manage the system, Heuvelman will deploy Arbor Media’s Cmeets. The new council meeting rooms will be equipped with a fully automated conferencing system with voting capabilities. Council members can log on with a personal card. Their name and party will show whenever they have the floor. The system is also extended to three separate committee rooms that can be combined into one central space.
With Cmeets, the city council's clerk office can control the camera(s) and microphones during council meetings, create and keep track of synoptic voting, support automatic name display and create a list of speakers and queues. This greatly enhances the efficiency of meetings and the work of the council's clerk office by automating many tasks. In addition, Gooise Meren is able to improve its service to citizens, who can easily retrieve information of the council’s work.
Lately, Arbor Media has been making big strides in local government with customers that now include Amsterdam, Den Haag, Zoetermeer, Stichtse Vecht, Rhenen and Bodegraven-Reeuwijk.
