The Senate of the Dutch Parliament has had it’s first new meeting

“It is great that we can now do all our work from one place. Last December we said goodbye to the Binnenhof and to our life as nomads, shipping between the Ridderzaal and this building”. This is how Senate of the Dutch Parliament chairman, Jan Anthonie Bruijn, opened the meeting last Tuesday. The first meeting of 2022 ánd the first in the new building of the Senate.

We are proud to be one of the contributing partners of the project that made this temporary housing possible.

Due to necessary maintenance, the current building cannot be used for the next 5 years. Therefore, a temporary housing was needed in which the House of Representatives of the Netherlands can continue their work. Part of the assignment was to care for the many visitors of the building, such as students, guests and interested citizens. The following facilities are available in the temporary housing: a new visitors entrance, the central hall, multiple commission chambers, a general chamber with a stand for an audience, a restaurant, office space a multimedia area and many more.
