SNMP support for Audio and Video recording
The LogDepot Audio and Video backend have full support for SNMP through an SNMP MIB file. This allows organisations to have a professional monitoring of the Audio and Video Recording and Streaming functionality. The LogDepot SNMP plug-in allows you to monitor the input signal, the internal processing data (such as number of processed frames per second) and the output signal. Deviations from the expected values will automatically lead to a signal in the Network Management System (NMS).
The Simple Network Management Protocol, in short SNMP, is a widely used protocol for management of IP-connected network devices. Every modern IP connected device has SNMP support to allow professional monitoring. The LogDepot Video SNMP Interface is based on the Windows Server SNMP Service. It consists of an Extension Agent DLL, which communicates with the Video Backend.
