Upon startup, why can’t the backend service instantiate the FFDShow filter?

Upon error message “Class not registered (0x80040154)”. Check if FFDShow has been installed. Upon error message: “No such interface supported (0x80004002)”. Check if FFDShow has been installed and if backend service has been set to log on to the administrator account.
